Brief History: Hanna was born in Wales to Alexander and Elsa Kensington, a typical pureblooded couple with respect for one another, but not too much display of affection. As a young girl, imagination was Hanna's strength. Being an only child, she was showered with gifts and finery. Her father's International Magical Cooperation job kept him traveling, but Hanna formed a close bond with her mother and therefore seldom felt neglected. She attended all the normal, pureblood functions, loving every minute of the expensive atmosphere. However; in her younger years she conversed more with adults than with those her own age, this influencing her time later spent at Hogwarts. In Hanna's first years she interacted with those of all ages to better understand what she'd missed out on in her childhood and what was still to come as a young adult. Her tendency to imagine herself as other people grew with time, turning into more of a game of acting. She began to mold her personality to what she felt best suited those around her, showing others what they wanted to see. As material possessions grew somewhat boring (but never unappreciated or old!), she began working extremely hard at hobbies to feel a deeper sense of satisfaction. Her father's continued absence only made her believe that significant others were unnecessary, which now makes her reluctant to be in anything similar to a relationship. Her parents were eventually divorced... 'irreconcilable differences' tearing them apart - one was a Death Eater, one was not! Though she's extremely social and has made many friends and acquaintances over her years at Hogwarts, her mother remains her biggest persuader.


Plot Thus Far: Hanna is a conflicted soul, a pureblood elitist with a guilty conscious. Although Hanna was willing to go to great lengths to become a member of FUKD, she disagrees with the ring leader - Wes - finding him too evil spirited. Hanna believes that 'mudbloods' should be given a separate school and jobs of lesser stature, but her intention has never been for them to be destroyed or harmed. Her Hufflepuff nature has made her quite sociable, and she is beginning to realise that the muggleborns she's hated because of her mother's influence are not so inferior to herself. Rumours have spread about her and Troy Frogley (frogleygoof), involving a linen closet and unappropriate behavior. Hanna continues to try and infiltrate the DA, but her objectives seem to be jumbled. She has formed alliances with adriana_winters, dorian_grace, and the lovely hargreaves_b, but her truest friend is Charlie Kerrigan (le_charlie). She recently informed him of her goal to become a Death Eater, explaining it is in order to avoid losing what she's known for so long. She is in the process of reevaluating that position. Though she'll never be able to break her prejudices completely, and she must keep up with appearances on BOTH sides, or suffer the consequences.


Personality: Hanna is really the epitome of a Hufflepuff personality in most aspects. Hanna's true personality (as really, she has several) has been influenced by her environment. Having no siblings makes her desperate for attention, and so she is rather social and cares little about who she seeks for company. Her tendency to converse with adults as a child has left her rather confused about where she currently fits in and what is considered acceptable behavior. She is every bit the flirt, and has really yet to set boundaries for herself. Flirting and friendships are a game to her, allowing her to tweak her personality in subtle ways to suit whomever she is trying to attract the attention of. She only shows her true self to her closest friends, but even then she blocks herself from being completely open in order to avoid being hurt. She never backs down from a challenge if she feels it worth her time, unafraid to push herself to the limit and work hard to attain her spontaneous wants and needs. However; she has no real goals for herself, little ambition. She assumes she already knows what she'll be doing with her future - this meaning she'll follow in her mother's footsteps and become a death eater. Most people are unaware of this aspect of Hanna, as she treats most people the same way no matter what the bloodline.There is logic to this, in Hanna's mind. While she doesn't believe that mudbloods should practise magic and has every intent of settling down with a wealthy pureblood, she's not looking for a relationship NOW. If a bloke is good looking? They're worth a snog, as it's fun and meaningless, and really sort of funny to her - she thinks she's being generous by granting them her flirtatious attention. She's not an open person, and so her views go unspoken and unknown. Voldemort can run things, she'll enjoy her time at Hogwarts to the fullest! Once she leaves school, then she'll be serious about her views... or so she thinks in the present. Hardworking, loving of family, and loyal - just to her pureblooded peers! A true puff with a hidden agenda.
